When you’re transporting delicate and valuable equipment, your shipping case needs to be more than just a box. You will likely need your case to have additional features to protect your equipment from damage and to make the unloading process as safe and easy as possible. If you are moving heavy equipment with wheels, such as a portable generator or mobile medical workstation, you may need a case with a ramp inside.
Wilson Case can design and manufacture custom cases with ramps that fold out when open, making it easy to remove heavy wheeled equipment without dropping or damaging anything. When you need to move any equipment that will be costly to repair or replace, work with us to design a case with all the features necessary to protect your gear in transit and during the loading/unloading process. Browse our great selection of custom cases below. Every case we design is built to allow you to safely load, ship, unload and repeat.
Why Choose Ramps Cases from Wilson Case?
At Wilson Case, we have the skilled engineers, technology, and imagination necessary to design protective hard cases for any product that you need to ship. Over the past 30 years, we’ve worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including B2B, healthcare, event production, and government. Our experience with a diverse array of customers has given us insights into some of the most common pain points when transporting different types of products, and we design cases with innovative features that address those challenges.
If you’re trying to move wheeled equipment and are concerned about loading and unloading it from a shipping container, we can add a ramp to any standard or custom case. We can also add other features, such as trap doors, gliding drawers, or even mechanical lifts, to make it easier to move awkwardly shaped or heavy equipment. We’ll work with you to come up with a solution to your shipping challenges.
How We Make Custom Ramp Cases
We don’t take any shortcuts when designing custom cases with ramps. We’ll start by talking to you about the equipment you need to move and the particular challenges you face, and we’ll ask you to send us a file similar to a blueprint of your equipment. We’ll use this to design your case in SolidWorks, our 3D CAD modeling program. Once we’ve completed the detailed design, we’ll send it to you for approval. When you approve the design, we can begin the manufacturing process.
We translate our design file into CNC computer control language, which lets us accurately cut the high-quality materials for your case on our machines. Our skilled workers will then use proven construction techniques to fabricate your case to your exact specifications. Once complete, we will ship the case to you; we can usually deliver custom orders within 10 business days, and we also have a Quick Ship option for customers who need their order within 5 business days.
We care about your satisfaction, and we offer a limited lifetime warranty on all our products, including cases with ramps inside. If you discover any material or workmanship defects when you receive your case, we will cover the cost to ship it back, repair it, and return it to you.
