Our Custom Case Design Process

We work closely with each aerospace industry client to make sure we fully understand their shipping needs and the conditions the case will need to withstand in transit. We’ll start by evaluating the contents that need to be shipped to determine whether any industry regulations need to be followed on top of the standard ATA-300 guidelines.

Since custom ATA cases are 85% of our business, we’ve streamlined our process over time to make it as easy on our clients as possible. Most businesses in the shipping case industry require customers to send them a physical product to model the custom case after, but all we need is a blueprint CAD file. We’ll use SolidWorks to render 3D models of your case as if the real object were inside, ensuring precision and accuracy while saving you the time, money, and resources you may lose by leaving your essential items with someone else.

When your design is ready, we’ll present it to you before manufacturing so you’ll have a chance to make alterations. Once approved, we’ll fabricate your case. The design file you sign off on is the same one we’ll use on the production floor, where it will be translated to CNC computer control language, guaranteeing precision to thousandths of an inch. Each case is hand-assembled by experienced staff using machine-riveted construction and heat-treated plated steel hardware. When the manufacturing process is complete, we’ll ship your case to you in ready-to-use condition.
